Round Table: The Modern Express- a successful case

At 18.30 hours this coming Thursday 10 November under the title of Modern Express, un caso de éxito (“The Modern Express, a successful case”), the Maritime Museum of the River of Bilbao will host a round table/discussion on the actions carried out to rescue this ship which ran aground with 43-degree listing in the Bay of Biscay, its entry into the Port of Bilbao and the later tasks involved for its righting and later departure.

The round table has been organised by the Biscay Association of Merchant Navy Captains in collaboration with the Maritime Museum of the River of Bilbao, the Port Authority  of Bilbao, the Harbour Master’s Office, Bilbao Pilots, Ibaizabal Tugboats, SMIT Salvage and the Mooring companies of the Port of Bilbao.
