Port accessThe Port Authority of Bilbao and the Basque Maritime Forum were present at the Offshore Europe Conference and Exhibition held at Aberdeen between 4 and 8 September. This event is the most important in the sector in Europe and is attended by both leading oil and engineering companies, as well as their suppliers of the whole value chain.
From the same stand, both entities provided information on what the Basque Country offers this type of traffic in infrastructure and services, from land available alongside docks, shipping links with almost 900 ports worldwide to its specialised professionals in construction and transport.
In this sense, the Port of Bilbao, embraces one of the greatest energy and industrial poles with new projects under way connected with the offshore and onshore wind power sector, and
together with other operators, is boosting its epuertobilbao telematics programme, which already offers twelve services.
