On the same day, the Port of Bilbao received three cruise vessels at the Getxo facilities and two of them stayed overnight. On board were 1,600 passengers most of whom were American and British, accompanied by a large number of crew.
The first to berth at 21.00 hours on Monday 25 was the Boudicca, owned by Fred Olsen and consigned by Pérez y Cía. The vessel, 207 metres long and carrying 751 passengers sailed at 21.00 yesterday for Liverpool.
At 11.00 hours yesterday, Oceania’s 224-metre long Seven Seas Explorer,consigned by Incargo, and with 740 passengers spent the night at Getxo and will leave today at 16.00 hours with Corunna as its next destination.
Finally, the National Geographic Orion, 103 metres long and
with 112 passengers on board, berthed at 12.30 yesterday and departed at 24.00 hours bound for St Jean de Luz.
