A paper-free port
The Port of Bilbao’s electronic commerce platform “epuertobilbao” is used by almost 800 customers/users. With a view to addressing the consequences of Brexit, two new specific services are being developed, both for ro-ro terminal operators and ro-ro shipping companies, to consult customs status.
In addition, the platform provides other services for shipping agents with traffic with third countries, and has a mobile application (app) for lorries to be able to pre-notify entry to the port and terminals.
