The physical work environment

As was already said before, one of the strategic objectives of the Bilbao Port Authority is to guarantee the safety and health of its employees. For that reason and based on the proposal of the Delegated Hazard Prevention Committee, it chose to develop a Hazard Prevention Department when forming its own prevention unit, covering the four specialisations from among the different modalities set forth in the Labour Hazard Prevention Act.
