The internships in different areas of the Port Authority are designed for young people with no previous work experience, and will run for eight months
For the tenth consecutive year, the Bilbao Port and River Foundation is to offer, within the framework of collaboration between the members of its board of trustees, an internship programme in the functional areas of the different departments of the Port Authority of Bilbao. The programme is designed to provide young people with their first opportunity in the labour market, and to promote knowledge and talent.
The Foundation is offering six internships to young university or higher level vocational training graduates who are currently unemployed, under 30 years of age, with no qualified experience related to their studies, and who have not previously been the beneficiaries of an internship grant. The deadline for applications for the programme is 27th September. The internships will begin in October 2024 and will run for eight months.
The Foundation has signed agreements with the Novia Salcedo Foundation and Mondragon Unibertsitatea, with a view to preserving and respecting the rules of these organisations in terms of requirements for access to internships, documentation, accreditations and certificates required, grant amounts and management procedures for beneficiaries.
In 2024-25, internship places have been made available in the Port Authority to work in areas such as the environment, infrastructure, construction, innovation, people, social action and communication. Appropriate qualifications will be required for each post. For further details on the terms and conditions of the programme, click here.
