Port accessIn line with its commitment to sustainable environmental policies, the Bilbao Port Authority has recently renewed its service automobile fleet and introduced sustainability criteria bearing in mind low fuel consumption, low emissions of CO₂ and other combustible gases and low-noise emission.
Of what was available on the market, the Port Authority opted to purchase thirteen hybrid vehicles, which combine petrol and electric engines, and seven models using LP gas and petrol.
The new fleet will be added to the electric vehicle acquired by the Port Authority two years ago as well as the emergency ambulance obtained in March this year, which is equipped with a petrol and gas engine.
