Port accessCLH, the oil storage, transportation and distribution company and the Port Authority of Bilbao have signed an environmental good practices agreement in accordance with the Spanish State Ports and Merchant Navy Law.
The agreement binds the company to independently certified periodic controls on its facilities in the Port of Bilbao to guarantee that all the legally established environment requisites are fulfilled. In addition, the company will develop improvement programmes. The Port Authority in turn, will apply the corresponding reduced charges as set out in the current norms.
CLH has 20 tanks in the El Kalero Port zone with a 209,000-cubic metre capacity, and at present, is building a new petroleum products terminal comprising eleven tanks, whose capacity will be 237,000 cubic metres
