Port accessThe Bilbao stevedoring company Consignaciones Toro y Betolaza has acquired a new Liebherr LHM 400 harbour mobile crane with a view to reinforcing its operational capacity in the Port of Bilbao. It will be mainly used for stowing and breaking iron and steel goods and for heavy loads projects.
The Liebherr LHM 400 has 4 ropes and a 104-tonne lifting capacity; it joins two other cranes of the same model and a Liebherr 1300, which also has 4 ropes and a 104-tonne lifting capacity and a 125-tonne Liebherr 550. The company also has a 12-tonne capacity electric crane with two ropes.
