Port accessThe Job Fair, Prestik-Ezkerraldea, which will be held at the Portugalete Nautical School (dependent on the University of the Basque Country) on 21 and 22 October, is this year aimed at the economic and employment situation on the Left Bank and in the mining area. There will be exhibition stands, talks, round tables and workshops set up by the main agents in the working world, who with their experience and proposals hope to encourage people towards employment.
Organised and financed by the Biscay Territorial Council’s Department of Employment, Social Inclusion and Equality, the Fair is sponsored by the Port Authority of Bilbao and BBK (the Savings Bank of Biscay) with DEMA-Enpresa Garapena (Agency for Employment and Enterprise) taking charge of its planning, management and coordination.
The philosophy behind Prestik-Ezkerraldea is that the sum of efforts from the different environments in the fight against unemployment, and seeks an encounter point among all the
agents involved in employment in the Territory of Biscay that will favour the generation and diffusion of knowledge in relation to the present situation regarding training, employment and enterprise.
