Port of Bilbao receives largest container vessel ever to berth at its docks.

Maersk container ship Cezzane is the largest container vessel to have ever berthed at the Noatum Container Terminal in the Port of Bilbao.

The Cezzane is 300 metres long and 48 wide (a width for 19 containers) and it has a maximum loading capacity of 9,971 TEUs. It arrived at Bilbao from the Port of Antwerp and loaded containers destined finally for Brazil, although it will also call at Algeciras.
