From 20 – 24 May, and as part of the Barakaldo ACEX Culture Week, the Port Authority of Bilbao, in collaboration with the Nakusarbe Cultural Association, will carry out a series of activities to inform both young and older people alike of the fauna and flora present below the waters in the Port of Bilbao.
There will be a number of workshops centred around images and artistic development taking place on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday in the Barakaldo Cultural Centre Clara Campoamor.
The ACEX (Complementary and Extracurricular Activities) Programme has existed for 18 years in Biscay and is present in over one hundred public centres, offering 138 educational projects. Its aim is to provide complementary education in different areas, such as environmental education, art and music during leisure time. In addition, the programme has a clear purpose – to compensate for inequality by offering more opportunities to those who do not have any.
