A Bilbao Port Authority delegation headed by chairman Asier Atutxa will be present at the Transport Logistic Munich to be held from 5 to 7 May, where, they will inform of the services and infrastructures the Port of Bilbao offers handlers for all types of cargoes.
The competitive advantages of the Port include available land, the great number of short sea and long distance maritime services and the development of dry ports such as Pancorbo (Burgos) and Arasur (Alava). Pancorbo already has a rail connection and Arasur will soon have one, which will facilitate intermodal transport through the Port of Bilbao.
As the main port on the Atlantic Corridor, Bilbao’s services are reinforced by all the transport infrastructures the Basque Country offers. Consequently, the Port Authority and the “Basque
Country” brand, will share Stand number 119, Hall B4 at the Exhibition.
