Port accessThe President of the Port Authority of Bilbao, Ricardo Barkala, has received a delegation from the Thai Embassy in Spain headed by Her Excellency the Ambassador of Thailand to Spain, Ms. Phantipha Iamsudha Ekarohit, on the occasion of her official visit to the Basque Country.
The aim of the visit was to discuss trade relations between the Port of Bilbao and this strategic area of South-East Asia, a natural bridge between the whole of the East, South-East and Southern Asia.
In 2021, the Port of Bilbao handled 73,296 tonnes of goods arriving from or destined for Thailand.
