The association Nakusarbe has presented the Bilbao Port Authority-sponsored documentary “Portuko urak, bizitza babeslesku” at the International Forum of Underwater Cinema in San Sebastian.
The 26 minute documentary, is the Basque language version of ‘Port waters, a refuge for life’ which won the Silver Handrail trophy at the festival last year. The documentary shows the flora and the fauna that hides under the the port waters. This version includes a new Basque language version of the ‘Salve Marinera’ adapted by Txaber Gaztelu, the Sodupe parish priest and interpreted by the Meatzaldea Choir from Trapagaran.
