The Bilbao Port Authority is once again taking part in the annual Christmas Children’s Fun Park, to be held at the BEC from 15 December through to 5 January. In the fun park, the Port has prepared a stand offering educational games and activities to provide an insight into what it does, and to promote attractive leisure activities to raise awareness among the general public on important issues such as sustainability.
The stand of the Port of Bilbao will offer four fun and educational activities. The first, called the living ocean mission (for 7 to 15-year-olds), consists of a circuit of eight aerial games, and is designed to raise awareness of the situation of the oceans, where 6.4 million tonnes of waste are dumped every year. The second one, the Ezagutu Portua space (for all ages), is set up for people to learn about the business and the port environment in a relaxing atmosphere inside a customised container. The third, face painting (for all ages), where family members will have the opportunity to paint their children’s faces, and the fourth, an escape game (for 8-year-olds upwards), where participants will be challenged to solve tests, puzzles and riddles.
