The Port of Bilbao will be present with a stand at LETExpo – Logistics Eco Transport, the most important logistics fair in Italy, to be held in Verona from 16 to 19 March. Promoted by ALIS, the Sustainable Intermodal Logistics Association with a presence throughout Italy, LETExpo aims to be the event of reference for all leading Italian and international players in the logistics, transport and sustainable intermodality sector.
At the fair, representatives from the Port of Bilbao will present and explain the services provided by the port for all types of traffic, as well as the projects that are being taken forward with a view to becoming a more sustainable and innovative port.
In addition, thanks to the collaboration between the shipping company Finnlines and the Port Authority of Bilbao in the ALIS Association, the strengths of the value chain of ro-ro operations will be presented under the slogan “A Team Ready To Roll – Sailing Together”. Representatives from the companies Toro y Betolaza, Condeminas and Ewals will accompany the Port Authority of Bilbao to Verona.
The port of Bilbao is a strategic hub for Short Sea Shipping. Its rail-port connections provide a wide range of intermodal services and have made it a key location for the development of
environmentally sustainable international transport and logistics. It is connected to 207 ports throughout continental Europe and 66 ports in the United Kingdom and Ireland, servicing all types of traffic including road traffic. Last year, total traffic grew by 6% and ro-ro traffic was up 25%.
