From Stand G742 at the International Logistics and Material Handling Exhibition (SIL) to be held at Barcelona from 5 to 7 June, the Bilbao Port Authority will inform of its infrastructures and services the Port offers shippers.
The Port of Bilbao can be a very competitive trading partner both for exports and imports by Catalan shippers to and from the European
Atlantic countries – Belgium, Germany, Netherlands, Russia and United Kingdom among others – as well as for the transoceanic markets of China, South America and the United States.
Besides infrastructures and services, must be added consolidated companies specialised in all types of cargoes and the great number of shipping lines linking Bilbao with ports all over the world. In fact, an average of 13 container, 16 general cargo and 4 Ro-Ro vessels leave Bilbao each week, including the two motorways of the sea that connect Bilbao with Belgium and the United Kingdom.
At the SIL, the Bilbao Port Authority will also inform of its multimodal development strategy as well as the investment opportunities resulting from the new spaces that have been created in the Port.
