The School of Maritime Administration of the Basque Country inaugurated its academic year for 2012-2013 with a homage to Mr Javier San
José Amézaga for devoting his professional life to the port-maritime sector and also for his links with the School itself.
At the ceremony, Mr San José presented his book entitled Recuerdos y experiencias de una vida profesional en el sector naviero (“Memories of a life devoted to the maritime sector”) which has been published by the Basque Government.
The School of Maritime Administration, dependent on the Directorate of Ports and Maritime Affairs of the Basque Government’s Department of Housing, Public Works and Transport, has offered, in collaboration with the University of Deusto, a Master in Port-Maritime Company Management and Maritime Law for thirty years.
